Slingshot becomes the first broadband provider in to launch Naked DSL.
New Zealand, Auckland, Tuesday 20 November. Slingshot, New Zealand’s largest 100% kiwi-owned broadband provider has announced the launch of Naked DSL – a service which means customers no longer need to have a Telecom landline with their broadband DSL service.
Mark Callander General Manager of Slingshot says “it is great to finally let our customers have the option getting DSL broadband without the high price of a Telecom Home Line. In addition to this, customers will still be able to retain their existing phone number for a voice over broadband service if required.”
“Naked DSL allows us to break the traditional offerings made by other teleco’s in the market today. Slingshot’s bundled service consists of a full speed broadband plan (with a real data allowance!), an iTalk phone line with voicemail and a range of other smart phone features.”
Callander continues “iTalk is a voice over broadband service that is designed to work just like any other phone line, except it offers massive savings with calling rates from just 5 cents per minute all over the world.
“The new bundle is priced at just $79.95 a month. There are lots of exciting new developments that will be added to this service next year and they will be absolutely free of charge for our customers. We know what customers want and we’re focused on delivering them” says Callander.
