Slingshot’s General Manager, Mark Callander says, the launch of the free dial-up service will help thousands of customers in these tough times save a little bit of extra money and most importantly stay online. It is important that families with children have access to the internet as it is an essential learning tool for our younger generation, and if this new initiative helps achieve that we will be extremely satisfied.

Callander continues “It is quite surprising how many customers are still paying up to $27.95 a month for dial-up internet, so we are expecting a positive response from the market.
