New Zealand, Auckland – Monday 19 March, 2007 - Slingshot part of CallPlus, New Zealand’s largest 100% kiwi owned full service telecommunications company, has appointed Carson Higgins as its new Internet Product Manager.

Mr Higgins will oversee the product development of all Slingshot internet products including dial up, DSL and WiMax. His responsibilities will also include customer management, from acquisition, retention to value management, and managing advertising and communication programmes.

Mr Higgins brings extensive technical and commercial experience to this role. He was formerly the Acquisitions and Development Manager for Woosh Wireless and at Telecom Mobile held the position of Consumer Solutions Manager, managing the acquisition and winback portfolio in the consumer and small enterprise market.
