MAX Voice

MAX Voice offers you an alternative home line service. Instead of using the existing telephone system we bring the service to you wirelessly using radio signals. You continue to use your existing phone system just like you do today – the only change is that you’ll have access to great features like voicemail and caller ID for FREE.

There is a minimum 12 month contract when you sign up for MAX Voice and early cancellation fees will apply. Installation charges may apply and will vary depending on the type of installation you choose. All plans include wiring and maintenance which covers your Slingshot MAX equipment and wiring.

What do I get with MAX Voice?

With MAX Voice you get a phone line with a local number for the region you live in. Your phone line comes with a number of features including voicemail, caller id and call forwarding. We include these features for FREE.

All MAX Voice lines get our Great Saver calling plan which offers very competitive rates including FREE regional calling. If you choose not to take a MAX Broadband plan then a $30/month minimum toll spend will apply.

What are the benefits of MAX Voice?

  • You can keep your existing phone number
  • You get great features for FREE
  • Add a second line from any region in NZ at really low prices
  • Free regional calling
  • You aren’t tied to Telecom

Are there any special conditions?

You should be aware that during power outages your Slingshot MAX phone will not function unless you have purchased and installed a UPS. You can purchase one from leading computer suppliers. If you choose not to install a UPS you should ensure you have an alternative means of communication – especially in the event that you need to access emergency services.
